Better
Thank you LittleRazz for putting things into perspective for me. I'm at a point now where a few pep talks are great to hear.
I just got off the phone with our Bradley instructor. I felt like the classes were worth the money but even if I hadn't, my phone call with her was well worth the tuition. We talked about how low my Bishop Score is now and how I should discuss this with my doctor and try to buy myself a few extra days if need be. We talked about getting myself mentally prepared for the baby as well as Evening Primrose Oil. She also said that crying is very good - that I'm letting off steam like a pressure cooker. I plan to heed this advice for the next few days.

i am convinced that all these sure-fire will-make-you-go-into-labor methods are all a crock of you know what.
the baby is in charge. and that's all there is to it.
if it makes you feel better, i'm in the same boat. was due wednesday, going for a nonstress test and all that jazz on monday.
any tips on how to fail the test? i'm DYING to be induced at this point!
For what it is worth- and I know everybody gives you there "this worked for me" useless advice- I was TERRIFIED of being induced, so instituted a "don't go post-dates" plan at 38 weeks. (I was due August 4th) I drank raspberry leaf tea three times a day (iced, of course!), took EPO twice a day, and had sex every night. I DID end up being induced, but for medical reasons- but I was 4 cm, 80% effaced when I was! This was my first baby too, and my midwife couldn't believe how far I had managed to get my cervix by not yet forty weeks. Long story short (too late, I know!) I'm a believer in the EPO. Can't hurt anyway.
